2019 – YEAR OF HYPERTENSION AND PROMOTION OF HEALTHY BEHAVIOURS

The year 2019 was proclaimed the year of Hypertension and the promotion of Healthy Behaviour by the INSP.

The coordinator of UAICS was part of the HTA Year Coordination Group created by INSP and actively participated in the vast programme of activities.

The campaign, which took place under the motto: “Tenson Arterial, djobi sempre”, was launched in March 2019, with the aim of contributing to the adoption of healthy habits and lifestyles and the reduction of risk factors associated with hypertension and its consequences. The implementation was accomplished with several activities at national, regional and local levels.
