CAPE VERDE WAS AWARDED THE HEALTHY CITIES UNITED NATIONS INTER AGENCY TASK FORCE 2019

Cape Verde became the first country in the African region to take the WHO Healthy City approach.

AN INTEGRATED VISION OF HEALTH

A healthy city is not necessarily a city without sick citizens, but one whose leaders are aware that promoting health is a process in which the health and well-being of citizens is at the heart of decision-making. A healthy city seeks to improve the physical, mental, social and environmental well-being of those who live and work in it.

Innovative Management Model

UAICS
